5. Technical Requirements
5.1 General regulations
5.1.1 The product must correspond to the requirements of the present standard,
GOST 23166 and be manufactured in accordance with constructive and technological documentation, approved in the established
order.
5.1.2 Architectural pictures of the products, their overall dimensions are stated in
the project documentation and (or) in the contract for the manufacture of the product.
5.1.3
The rated dimensions of framing elements, beam sections, situation of window devices, butts and functional holes are
established in working drawings for product manufacture.
5.1.4 The construction of window
blocks provides sliding, swinging, suspended and rotary-suspended opening of casements. The dimensions of opening casements
and doors must not exceed:
Casements: 1200-mm width, 1800-mm
height
Doors: 900-mm width, 2300 height.
The weight of
opening elements must not exceed 80 kg (rated index).
If products with bigger weight and
dimensions of casements and doors are manufactured, their use must be confirmed by calculations or
tests.
The maximum dimensions of casement elements of window blocks of concrete types,
depending on beam section resistance, opening scheme, used butts, wind load, glazing elements weight, must be specified in
the constructive documentation of the manufacturer firm. The example of graphic estimation of height and width ratio of
casement elements with beam section 56X78 mm is set in enclosure B.
5.1.5 The angle and
middle joints of framing elements must be made, using double or triple straight glued tenons. Other constructions of angle
joints are allowed, but they must not decrease the firmness and reliability of angle joints. Constructive parameters of
angle and middle joints are established in construction documentation.
5.1.6. The examples
of constructive solutions of the product are shown on pictures 1,2. The joints of mullion transoms are established in
working drawings. The installation of decorative false mullions on the glass panes using atmosphere proof glues is allowed;
the defense of the glue joint by silicone is recommended. The examples of mullion joints are shown in enclosure A. In case
if products are intended for use inside or in unheated premises, the glazing of products by plate glass is allowed.
Recommended requirements for product construction, definition of functional zones and examples of constructive solutions of
joints of window blocks are shown in enclosure A.
5.1.7. The finishing of window blocks
must be carried out with:
- protective and decorative
compounds;
- atmosphere proof enamels (paints, laques) with preliminary treatment by bio
protective compounds;
- atmosphere proof enamels (paints, laques) that have bio protective
effect;
Outer surfaces may be faced by Polyvinilchlorid profiles made of aluminium alloys
with protective-decorative anode-oxide or polymer covering. Wooden elements of the product must be completely finished
before facing profile installation.
5.1.8. The products must be safe in exploitation and
maintanance. Conditions of exploitation safety of products of different constructions are established in project
documentation (for example, window blocks with suspended opening are not recommended for child institutions). In some cases,
special constructive solutions for safety guarantee must be provided in the product (tempered
glass).
5.1.9. The product must stand exploitation loads, including wind load according to
present building standards.
5.1.10. Polymer materials and parts of the product must have
hygenic conclusions, registered in the established order.
